CHANGES
We reserve the right to make changes without prior notice regarding vehicles, hotels, accommodations, meals, itinerary, etc. These changes do not result in any liability on our part, provided that the services remain comparable to the offer provided. Furthermore, such changes do not entitle the customer to any refund.

RESPONSIBILITY
Manfred Engelmann’s “AFRICAN Retreats PTY ltd” and its agents act solely as intermediaries for the retreat trip. We assume no liability for any injuries, damages, losses, thefts, death, unexpected delays, or irregularities during the trip. The same applies to damages to vehicles caused by individuals/agents during tours, except in cases of gross negligence. By booking, the customer accepts all risks that may arise during the tour.

PASSPORT AND VISA
Please contact the relevant authorities regarding the required passport and visa. We assume no liability for any delays or entry denials resulting from the customer’s failure to meet the authorities’ entry requirements.

LUGGAGE
Each person is limited to 20 kg of luggage. We assume no liability for luggage; responsibility for luggage remains with the customer during the trip.

COSTS
The stated prices include transport, accommodation(s), entrance fees, and meals as per the travel itinerary. Any additional costs are to be covered by the customer.

DEPOSIT
A deposit of 30% of the total price is due upon confirmation of the retreat reservation. The remaining balance of 70% of the total price is due 90 days before the start of the trip.

RESERVATION
Early reservations are recommended to avoid disappointment.

CANCELLATION
Cancellation Policy:

  • If cancellation occurs within 30 days before arrival, no deposit will be refunded, and the full amount of the booking will be charged.

  • If cancellation occurs within 60 days before arrival, 75% of the total booking amount will be charged.

  • If cancellation occurs within 75 days before arrival, 50% of the total booking amount will be charged.

  • If cancellation occurs within 90 days before arrival, 25% of the total booking amount will be charged.

We reserve the right to cancel any booking before the cancellation period begins. No refunds or exchanges will be provided for unused or lost flight tickets.

TIPS
Tips are not included and are at the discretion of the customer.

TRAVEL, HEALTH, AND TRIP CANCELLATION INSURANCE
We recommend obtaining travel insurance, health insurance, and trip cancellation insurance. We do not assume any obligations or guarantees regarding possible refunds, coverage, or any other aspects of the aforementioned insurances.

GENERAL DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
Neither “AFRICAN Retreats PTY ltd” nor any of our employees/partners shall be liable for any loss, damage, or injury to persons or property, regardless of the cause or responsibility.

JURISDICTION
In the event of any disputes between the parties regarding the agreement, including but not limited to interpretation, remedies, content, termination, or any other matters requiring an agreement between the parties, the dispute shall be handled in accordance with the regulations of the Arbitration Foundation of South Africa. The arbitration shall take place in Cape Town, South Africa.
